"My first contact with CLM Drylining was when looking to place an order for the prestigious awarding winning VM1 project at Shipley. West Yorkshire. Though extremely skeptical at first I agreed to review a project they were currently undertaking in Leeds for Ocon.
CLM, a relatively fledgling contractor were up against proven drylining contractors who we had relationships with over many years, to secure the VM 1 contract.

The Ocon project was a similar superstructure construction to that at VM1 and the details and proactive approach they had shown to the client and architect on this project without commercial gain to themselves gave me an excellent feeling about this sub-contractor.
The feedback from the site team for the main contractor on this major project again reiterated our earlier thoughts.
After meeting with John Houston the Managing Director, it was clear a good relationship and rapport could easily be built and we awarded the contract to CLM.

Through the VM 1 project I never considered I had made a mistake by going with this fledgling company. They were flexible, hard working, willing and available to discuss issues. These traits are extremely rare with sub contractors of this day and age. Though the project was difficult CLM came through and were rewarded by negotiating the 2nd phase with ourselves which is currently half way through and ahead of programme.

If I were to be asked, “would I recommend CLM” or “would I use them again”, without hesitation, I would respond positively. CLM are now part of the team.

Eric Wright Construction Ltd.

CLM Drylining carried out their first contract for Eric Wright Construction on a new build 4000 sq mtr health centre in Accrington, Lancashire. We found them to be professional and courteous with the quality of workmanship being of a high standard. Their workforce observed and complied with site Health & Safety rules and their general house keeping was exceptional.

As a result of their performance on this contract, CLM have been added to our subcontract data base and continue to price and carry out work for Eric Wright Construction.
